University of Aaron is a college with a lot of history, even though it is quite new in history. Considered by many to be the greatest college in the world, UOA has accepted thousands of people from around the globe to help it grow. The college spreads much knowledge throughout the land, but the only bad thing in its way was its brand.
The old University logo was flat, and had no life to it. It was very outdated and kind of hated, but they kept it anyway. The reason was that they felt that their outdated, flat, boring logo was unique to them. They felt that the pros would out way the cons. They didn't. Some people even didn't go to the college because of their weird logo.
UOA saw that people were mad, they saw that they were even losing intelligent people because of it, and they saw that they needed to do something to change this. So they hired a famous design company, Eye Design, and went to work to build an awesome new brand.
The old UOA logo was unfriendly, and led to a lot of loss.
Eye Design is a famous design company in the United States, and is run by The Aaron Company. They make logos, fonts, brand identities, and other design related things. Coca-Pepsi, Santiago Niños, Lower Case, The Aaron Company are only a few companies and projects that they have worked on. Eye Design was the organization that fixed University of Aaron's brand.
University of Aaron came to Eye Design (ED) and asked them to change their identity. At first, when they saw the logo ED said "We can't." But they were wrong about that. They could, but they were too scared because their logo was too hard to work with. First, it was a PNG, and there was no original file, so they would have to build it up from scratch. And Second, the logo was outdated, how were they supposed to bring an old time logo up to date!? After much debate, ED finally agreed to make a new logo for the UOA.
Is hard. You have to go through many months of trying and failing before you get the final product. It isn't magic, it's labor. Labor is expensive. The entire logo process took 2 years, and cost the school USD $2,000,000! Design was one of the largest expenses that year, but it was worth it. Every single second, and every single dollar was worth it, because the new logo was awesome.
The logo is now replacing all the old logos on every website, magazine, and place where it may be featured. It was a big project, and it was so worth it.
The meaning of the new logo is that even if you don't look perfect, if you're not "pretty," or if you have imperfections, you are still perfect on the inside. Just like the new logo has imperfections, and minor "flaws," it is still perfect on the inside. The people on the inside of the university are perfect.
